Development / implementation of modern technology for measurement of various data

I. Development and implementation of modern techniques including isotopic tracer based techniques for measurement especially for the areas like storm surge, tidal hydraulics, salinity and unsteady flow.

II. CWC is modernizing the collection of hydro-meteorological data through automatic sensors, data loggers, telemetry and real time data acquisition and dissemination.

III. CWC is planning on-line monitoring of water storage levels of 91 reservoirs.

IV. CGWB is planning to procure DWLR for automation of water level monitoring at select locations / monitoring wells in the country.

V. NIH Roorkee is working on the development / deployment of tracer and isotope techniques for monitoring.
