There are eight research projects which was awarded to various research institutes such as IITs, NITs, etc. in the country with funding under the R&D Programme of the Ministry of Jal Shakti. These projects are funded by R & D Wing of the Department of Water Resources, RD & GR and their progress is also monitored by R&D Division through INCCC. These projects are executed by the reputed technical institutes/ organizations of the Central Government and State Governments. The details of these projects are given below:
- Impact Assessment of Climate Change on Hydro meteorological processes and Water Resources of Mahanadi River Basin.
- Climate Change Impact Studies for Rajasthan (Area of Inland Drainage and Mahi basin.
- Impact of Climate Change on water Resources of Tapi Basin.
- Effect of Climate Change and land use/land cover changes on spatial and temporal water availability in Subamarekha Basin.
- Impact of Climate change on water Resources of Sabarmati Basin.
- Impact of Climate Change on Water Resources in River Basins from Tadri to Kanyakumari.
- Statistical Downscaling for hydro-climatic projections with CMIP5 simulations to assess impact of climate change.
- Dynamic Downscaling to study Climate Change (CC) impacts on Water Resources in India.
