Incentivize use of efficient irrigation practices and fully utilizes the created facilities

(a) Preparation of appropriate guidelines.

(b) Initiation of actions by the States and other agencies. 

Details of the strategies are discussed in the recommendations of the Sub-Committees and the same are included in the Mission Document. The strategies stated above are being addressed by National Water Mission in more effective manner by focusing on  Improving Water Use Efficiency, Ground Water Recharge, reducing Water Pollution, Re-cycle and Re-use of Waste Water and Rain Water Harvesting.
